2020 MyWIC Camp During the COVID-19 pandemic the volunteers at NAWIC were able to hold the 2020 MyWIC Camp virtually over a 6 week period. MyWIC participated in a 6-week summer program in partnership with NAWIC Philadelphia Foundation and Girls Inc. of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey. With the support of a WorkReady grant, twenty 12-14 year old girls gained hands on exposure to architecture, engineering, innovative techniques, program management, estimating, and trade construction along with lessons on leadership and community action, post-secondary readiness, STEM education and healthy decision making. |
