We are in need of 30 judges and 20 volunteers for the day of the event.
Judges may be NAWIC members, industry leaders, local business people, media people, etc. Judges shall also act as monitors during the building contest. It is the responsibility of the judge to ensure that each child completes the project entirely on their own. All judging shall be conducted using official scoring forms, oral interview questions, and other criteria as established. The forms will be provided the day of the event. Volunteers are needed for setup, registration, student escorts, monitoring, unpacking supplies, and clean-up activities. There will be two NAWIC activity tables and one snack table that will need to be manned. Volunteers must be available at 7:30 AM to help set-up before the students arrive. If you have a child or grandchild that would like to participate please complete and submit the Lego Block Kids registration form that can be found on our website. If you have not participated previously the event is an awesome experience and we are typically completed by noon on Saturday.
Sponsorships, Judge/Volunteer RSVPs and Student Registrations ARE DUE BY: October 22, 2021.
