The NAWIC Philadelphia Foundation is pleased to announce the Block Kids Building Program will be held on Saturday, November 6th, 2021 at the Sheet Metal Workers Local 19 Hall in Philadelphia. NAWIC works together with local companies and organizations to promote the construction industry as a career path for students. Block Kids is for boys and girls in grades 1 through 6. You can support this fun event by participating as follows:
As a sponsor, you and your company will be recognized the day of the event, on our website, and in upcoming promotional material. Your name and logo will also be on display at the event. We hope to have news crews broadcasting live to inform the public of our collective interest in promoting a construction career to children and parents.
The Block Kids Building program was developed by the NAWIC Education Foundation to introduce children to the construction industry to create awareness of careers available within our industry. This national award-winning program is sponsored by NAWIC Chapters throughout the United States and Canada and locally sponsored by the NAWIC Philadelphia Foundation.
The success of this program is due to the tremendous support received from the construction industry. Perhaps you have children and/or would be willing to promote this program within your company. Feel free to make copies of the Student Registration form to distribute to your child’s school, church, scouting club, family members, co-workers, etc. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at the numbers below or email us at NAWICPF@gmail.com.
Best Regards,
Angelina Perryman
