Marty McCarthy, CPA, CCIFP, is the managing partner of McCarthy & Company, PC. With over three decades of experience, Marty is a trusted advisor prioritizing year-long initiatives for his clients to ensure they make the most thoughtful business decisions to help them grow and thrive both currently and in the years to come. As one of Southeast Pennsylvania’s leading tax firms, Marty keeps a close eye on what is happening in his client’s businesses and industries and changes to the tax law, accounting pronouncements, and government regulations so clients can focus on their business. A graduate of Villanova University with a B.S. in Accounting, Marty holds the well-respected Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) designation. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Marty is also a member of the Construction Financial Management Association, where he serves as a member of the national tax and legislative affairs committee, Associated Builders and Contractors, the Construction Association of Eastern Pennsylvania, Utility Transportation Contractors Association, General Building Contractors Association, the National Association of Surety Bond Producers, and Architectural Glass & Metal Association, where he serves on the CPA Advisory Committee and Board of Directors, respectively. Due to his extensive knowledge in the construction industry, Marty is frequently asked to speak at local and national conferences on tax planning and numerous other topics.
